Soon after launching the Wagoneer S Launch Edition BEV, we see a new trim, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Limited. You get less power and content, but pay less, too.
In the middle of 2024, Jeep introduced the Wagoneer S model, a battery electric vehicle with a mix of Cherokee and Grand Cherokee styling, two electric motors pumping out a combined 600 horsepower, and loads of luxuries inside. Appropriately enough, it bore the name Launch Edition. Now, as we settle into 2025, Jeep adds a second trim to the line-up, the Wagoneer S Limited.
Dimensionally speaking, the Wagoneer S measures just 1.1 inches shorter than the Grand Cherokee, spanning 192.4-inches from nose to tail. The Wagoneer S is also 74.8-inches wide, 64.8-inches tall, with a 113.0-inch wheelbase. It visually stands out with a gloss black roof and sideview mirror covers. And a striking set of 20-inch wheels bolted up on each corner.
Overall, you get about 130 cubic feet of space inside. More than 30 cu.-ft of that space lies behind the second row. And, if you fold it down, it essentially doubles to 61 cu.-ft. All of the above fall behind the Grand Cherokee, which is also wider and quite a bit taller. It offers nearly 38 cu.-ft behind the second row, more than 70 cu.-ft with it folded. And a tad more passenger space, too.

Powertrain
Just like the Launch Edition, the new Wagoneer S Limited gets energy from a 400-volt, 100.5 kWh, lithium-ion battery pack. According to the EPA, that’s enough to travel 294 miles on a single charge. On a fast charger, the pack will go from 20 to 80 percent in 23 minutes, according to Jeep. One quick note, most manufacturers give a charge time figure from 10-80 percent, factor in an extra few minutes if you want to compare.
But, on to the more entertaining portion of BEV propulsion, Jeep detuned the Limited a bit but still offers 500 horsepower and 524 lb.-ft of torque evenly split between two electric motors, one on each axle. That’s enough muscle to reach 60 mph from rest in “just under” 4.0 seconds, according to Jeep.
The Launch Edition uses 600 horsepower and 617 lb.-ft to handle the same task in 3.4 seconds. But Jeep says that an optional Power-Boost package will take the Limited figures up to match the Launch Edition, sounds fun.
No transmissions here, but single-speed drive down gears with 11:1 ratios. The Wagoneer S is full-time four-wheel drive with open differentials sending power to the individual wheels on both axles.
If you want to hitch a trailer, Jeep says the Wagoneer will tow up to 3500 lbs. But don’t count on 294 miles of range while you do it.

Inside
Step inside and you see several screens adorning the dash. You get a standard, 12.3-inch, fully digital instrument cluster and a second 12.3-inch screen for the center display. You also get a third, 10.3-inch comfort screen, as Jeep calls it, to handle HVAC controls and the like. A fourth screen is optionally available, another 10.3-inch screen for the passenger to use.
Jeep mounted a flattened oval shaped steering wheel to make it easy to see all of the above screens as well as give the Wagoneer S a bit of a futuristic look. For a bit of comfort, that steering wheel is heated as well. Both driver and front passenger sit on 10-way, power adjustable front seats, by the way, which also provide heating for those cooler traveling days.
On top rests a dual-pane panoramic moonroof, to let in plenty of natural light and a bit of air, when you want it.

Conclusion
To purchase a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Limited, get ready to spend at least $66,995. That figure includes the $1795 destination charge. It also lobs a cool five grand off of the Launch Edition base price. Moreover, that price includes a 48-amp level 2 charger for your residence. Or, if you prefer, public charging credits.
Jeep, just like Ram, Chrysler, and Dodge took a hard turn toward electrification recently. That’s left several SRT and especially Hellcat fans more than a little bemused. But the move toward EV marches on. Jeep chose to march with it. And, in doing so, built a slick looking, incredibly quick, two-row crossover SUV. Looking forward to seeing how well it drives.
